Kuwait Reports Fatality, Dozens Injured in Iranian Strikes
The Foreign Ministry strongly condemns what it calls Iran’s “brutal and continued attacks” using ballistic missiles and drones, saying the latest strikes target “civilian and vital” facilities, including Kuwait International Airport.
It adds that the attacks cause one death, multiple injuries, and damage to critical infrastructure, including diplomatic sites.
Health Ministry spokesman Abdullah Al-Sanad says 63 people are injured, including seven who undergo major emergency surgeries, according to reports.
He notes that the injured include airport workers and travelers, with injuries ranging from fractures and head trauma to brain hemorrhage and amputations.
The Foreign Ministry says Kuwait “reserves the full right” to take appropriate measures in response to the attacks “in accordance with international law.”
